Course Objectives
This module will offer fun and engaging strategies for identifying misconceptions, determining their source, and effectively reversing those misconceptions. To do this, we will:
Explore three possible sources of misconceptions in science
Identify strategies to activate prior learning and identify misconceptions before starting a unit of study
Define cognitive dissonance and relate this to the reversal of misconceptions
Dive into three different strategies for reversing misconceptions in your lessons
